Group C Super Cup
May 7 2021 - May 9 2021
The fascination of the past motorsport days will return on the weekend of May 7th to 9th, 2021 at the Bosch Hockenheim Historic on the Hockenheimring.
The race for the new Group C Super Cup will be held as an independent event for the first time in 2021 and further events are already planned for 2022.
The Bosch Hockenheim Historic – The Jim Clark Revival is an established motorsport event for old and youngtimers, which every year attracts large numbers of visitors from Germany and all of Europe to the traditional Baden race track.
In July 1985 the 1000 km long WEC race took place in Hockenheim for the last time, with drivers like Derek Bell, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Stefan Bellof, Bob Wollek, Manfred Winklehock & Mark Surer with Porsche 956/962, Jaguar, Sauber Mercedes and Lancia C1 were at the control sticks. For the category group C2 Gordon Spice, Ray Bellm, Stanley Dickens, Almo Copelli, Frank Jelinski, Martino Finotto, Carlo Facetti and John Graham in the machines Spice, Alba and Gebhardt C2.
36 years later, this spectacle of the then and later Group C / IMSA GTP machines can be relived. The feeling of nostalgia and living history will be in the air when the cars start again at the Hockenheimring.
